Copies of divorce records can be obtained from the Clerk of Superior Court. Marriage records can be requested from the Durham County Register of Deeds. Birth and death records are also available from the Register of Deeds.

There is a portal through the county website to search most records online. If you cannot locate a record, you can request records through the specific department. For records from the Board of Commissioners, contact the Clerk to the Board.
